NAVFAC MIDLANT Awards $40M A-E Contract for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering Services

From Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs

NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded Summer Consultants, McLean, Virginia, a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract valued at up to $40 million for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and engineering services across the command’s area of operations, primarily in Hampton Roads.

The first task order is awarded at $5,000 in order to fulfill the minimum guarantee. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an anticipated completion date of September 2031.

Fiscal year (FY) 2026 Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Navy funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current FY. Future task orders will be primarily funded by O&M and military construction funds.

This contract was competitively procured via the SAM.gov website, with 17 offers received.
